Disguise Showcases Cutting-Edge Experience Tech for Sports, Broadcast and More at NAB 2026
An interview from the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas with Dan Baum of Disguise. Disguise is the industry-leading platform sitting at the heart of a new era of visual experiences. One powerful integrated system of software, hardware and services to help create the next dimension of real-time spectacle.
Disguise partners with the biggest entertainment brands and companies in the world to deliver the A-list of live music events, live TV broadcasts, immersive experiences, installations, theatre, film and TV production, corporate communications and brand product launches. Working with the biggest brands, studios, artists and venues in the world, including Disney, Snapchat, Netflix, ESPN, the Burj Khalifa and Adele, Disguise is the number one partner delivering the next dimension of entertainment.
At NAB 2026, Disguise highlighted how its software and media servers enable synchronized, high-resolution content playback for broadcast, VP, live events, sports stadiums and more.
Along with demos and panels at five partner booths, Disguise and its partners previewed two integrations developed using its proprietary plugin framework: Sony’s new XYN integration plugin for virtual production, and an upcoming plugin from LTX for AI-powered generative media creation.
Created for filmmakers to use with Disguise’s Designer software, Sony’s XYN plugin streamlines the process of converting real-world spaces into 3D computer graphics, reducing the workload required to create LED virtual production backgrounds.
Using the LTX plugin for Disguise Designer, creative teams will be able to generate synchronized audio-visual content at native 4K, 60fps, using LTX’s latest and most powerful multimodal AI model, LTX-2.3. Through the plugin, venues, sports franchises, broadcasters and more, are able to generate 4K LED videos using written prompts or reference images, then iterate on the fly for a faster and efficient ideation and pre-visualization process.
Showgoers saw Disguise technology in action at the MRMC, B&H, Planar, CarbonBlack and MOVIN booths in Central Hall. Disguise also announced a new partnership with NETGEAR at the show, which saw verified interoperability with Disguise servers and all NETGEAR AV switches.
A number of panel discussions featuring Disguise thought leaders and customers took place across partner booths, including a Sony-moderated session exploring how spatial capture supports modern virtual production workflows, and a B&H panel covering how to design entertainment venues that support both traditional broadcast and immersive in-person fan experiences using AR and XR.
“Whether it’s for sport or live music, films or TV broadcasts, audiences in 2026 want to be more than just passive viewers. They want to be included as a genuine part of the experience,” says Dan Baum, VP of Sales, Americas at Disguise. “Disguise software and hardware has powered the biggest events and productions in the world for more than twenty years, and we’re delighted to be supporting our partners at NAB to continue driving these next-gen experiences of the future. By embracing innovation and integrations, improving workflows for our users, and ultimately elevating core visual moments for fans, Disguise can help bring audiences closer to the events, shows and games they love.”
